What is a working holiday in Australia?

The Australian national government is a federal exchange program that allows you to earn money as you travel. It is made especially for youngsters. As per the Australian visa guidelines, there are two types of working holiday programs.

  • Working Holiday Visa (Subclass 417).
  • Work and Holiday Visa (Subclass 462).

Working Holiday Visa: The Australian government issues the Working Holiday Visa to only 19 countries, primarily European and a few Asian nations, including Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong. To be eligible for this visa, one needs to be between 18 and 30 years old, but for some countries, the upper limit is 35. 

Work and Holiday Visa: The second category under the program is the Working and HolidayVisa. After two years, the Indians can apply for an applicant age limit between 18 and 30 years, which cannot be changed in any circumstances. Australia issues this visa to 26 countries, including The United States of America, China, Singapore, and Indonesia.
