What are the latest changes in Subclass 485?

These are the changes that the Australian government recently announced regarding the 485 Visa.

  • The country permanently raised the length of stay for Masters by Coursework graduates from 2 to 3 years commencing from 01-December-2021, similarly like the plans for Masters by Research students.

  • The duration of the replaced Graduate Visa will be the same as your original visa according to your level of qualification, regardless of how long you stayed in the nation.
