Updated guidelines for vaccination certificates

First things first, you need to prove that you are fully vaccinated against the coronavirus. For this, you need to show a certificate. These are the acceptable certificates.

  • Two doses of BioNTech (Pfizer).
  • Two doses of Moderna.
  • Two doses of AstraZeneca (Covisheild).
  • One dose of Covid-19 Vaccine Janssen.
  • One dose of AstraZeneca plus one dose of BioNTech.
  • One dose of AstraZeneca plus one dose of Moderna.

Please note that if you were infected with the coronavirus and have only received a single dose of vaccination, you should show a positive PCR test. Also, you must ensure that 14 days have passed after the second dose before applying for your visa. Also, we at HS Consultants Education & Migration strongly advise you to check for this information in your certificate. If any one of the points is missing, then either a technical error or your certificate is a fraud.

  • Your full name and your birthday or passport no.
  • The date when you received the vaccination and the number of doses you received.
  • The name of the vaccine that you received.
  • Name of the virus for which you got vaccinated (Covid).
  • Your certificate should have the official seal of the certificate provider to show that he/she is the issuer of the certificate.

Please look at these extra guidelines.

  • If you have not reached 12 and have not received the vaccine, you can show a PCR test or Antigen test certificate and enter Germany. However, a fully vaccinated mother, guardian, or father must accompany you at all times for safety reasons. You do not need these test certificates if you are under 6.
  • You must be fluent in German, French, Italian, Spanish, or English. Please note that to show your proficiency in English, you need to show an IELTS score sheet with good marks. We provide intelligent IELTS Coaching so that you can pass your IELTS test on the first try with high marks. However, if you have completed your graduation in English, you don’t need IELTS. You also don’t need IELTS to visit or work in Germany.
  • Printout of the certificate will work, but photos are not allowed.
  • You must fill an online declaration and submit it along with the vaccination certificate.
